Week 2: Settling Into Sydney

The day after I got back from my New Zealand trip, I went to a Malcolm Todd concert at the UNSW campus. The concert was packed, and I could barely see anything because there were so many people in front of me, but it was still so worth it.


The next day, I coincidentally ran into a group of people from my dorm who were heading to the Rhode AP Bakery pop‑up, so I tagged along. When we got there, the line was absolutely crazy, so we just took a photo of it and left. Instead, we grabbed some coffee and relaxed at Hyde Park. Later that night, we all met up again at a pub near our dorms and had such a good time.


On Valentine’s Day, there was a dorm event to go see the fireworks by the harbour. We all squeezed onto a packed bus and headed over together. Standing there watching the fireworks, I just felt so glad I met this group of people.
